The signs of the Renaissance age can be found all over Ferrara. It is a perfect blend of the past co-existing with the present. Because of its beauty and cultural importance, the sites are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. You can visit the Este Castle, the Schifanoia Palace, the Este Tomb, the Cathedral and Cathedral museum, and the core of the medieval city.
We will then continue to Padua, which holds many of Italy’s hidden art treasures. The Scrovegni Chapel contains a cycle of frescos done by Giotto, from 1303-1305. Saint Anthony’s Cathedral houses sculptures from Donatello and paintings from such artists as Titian and Casanova.
