Car Tour in Turin
Your day will start with a spectacular visit to the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile. The museum tells the story of the automobile from its origin to modern day. Spotless, intact cars produced by different manufacturers from all over the world are on display to be admired. A special wing is dedicated to Formula 1 racing and is the top attraction for sports car enthusiasts. The shaping of the Fiat brand in the context of Turin’s history are also an integral part of this sprawling museum.
After the museum visit, we will stop at a local trattoria for lunch. Following lunch, you will be in for a real treat as you take a walk through the renowned Pininfarina museum. The brand new exhibition space is a true reflection of the company’s evolution over time. They stay true to their roots and emphasise high-quality products. The museum is a place where the past, present and future all come together to represent the spectacular Pininfarina brand. The cars that can be admired while walking through the museum are among the most important of the brand’s history such as the Cisitalia, Giulietta Spider, Sigma Grand Prix and Cambiano. New interactive display panels have been installed in order to link the past to the future.
On the way back to the hotel, you can stop to take a look at Turin’s rooftop racetrack at the Lingotto 8 Gallery. The building was once home to the Fiat factory and cars used to be tested on the rooftop after they came off the assembly line.
